Odin sits atop his throne
With a baleful glare he sits alone
The Valkyrie ride like the hounds of Hell
Chasing after the Rhinegold's spell
Made from ore stole from the ground
Now in ring form may be found
To use its power there is a cost
What you love most will soon be lost
No love in heart must you bear
For no other must you care
To save a damsel in distress
Can turn a man into a mess
But brave the fire if you’re the one
Whose heart by her has long been won
And return to those from whence it came
The gold that started this power game
Love its lack started this long sad haul
So find a way to save them all
For love's the key it shows the way
And forgiveness shall hold all in its sway
And lessons learned from the past
Are hard to bear but they will last
To teach to others that there’s a cost
But if you can love then all’s not lost
Remember well these sorry words
For all I have I give it’s hers.
