Fiery eyes pierce the blackness searching for...
"Hold me close" she whispers softly, succumbing to her need
"My Love, you shiver" she soothes placing her warmth to
buffer the night
"Only for your desire" she nestles against the heat,
warming her soul
Emerald beacons shatter the ebony wall to encompass her
completely
Sapphire turns hot, melting into her emerald pool, soft the
night settles
"I Love you," stated from lips so soft, "Love you too"
mumbled into golden tresses
Her body feels the change, heart beginning to beat a steady
tempo
Hands clasp and hold tight, anchoring their existence
eternally yet...

"Stay here." Sudden movement so swift, imperceptible, she
feels the cold again
Using senses honed from her lessons she waits, every
movement a calculated exercise
"Be Careful" flies through her mind as she coils waiting,
sensing then relaxing
"Everything alright?" she questions already knowing the
answer
"Fine." Warm heat returns as she feels her Soulmates
essence fill her again, returning
"Mmm, you are my light, my beacon in the night." Lips
brush the golden seeking
"And you, mine." She turns feeling her lover adjust to
accommodate her frame
"Melt into me" smiling eyes scare the demons of past away
leaving only truth
Smaller hands reach up to caress the finely chiseled
features, trembling with impatience
Strong arms encircle holding fast to her light, hearing the
soft sigh escape her lips

Nuzzling each other they begin their dance slowly executing
their love
Soft sighs escape towards the heavens becoming stars of
everlasting light
"You take me away" she arches into her lovers lips seeking
a goal predestined
The dance begins as they battle for each other's very soul,
mingling, becoming one
"Gabrielle.." she tastes her lover's name, blind to the
night's harshness
Gabrielle...show me..." she seeks her lover's satisfaction
maintaining her own desire
"Gabrielle...show me...tell me..." she succumbs to the steady
pounding of her heart
"Xena..."she moans hands fluttering against her lovers
onslaught
"Xena...I..."she muffles a sob feeling her lovers desire
overtake her
"Xena...I...Oh Gods!" she succumbs to the overpowering
sensations unable to breath

Breathing life into each other they tangle together warm
furs overheating their senses
"You okay?" she nudges gathering her love to her,
protective arms tightening
"Yes," whispered throatily as she snuggles into her nest,
borrowing against the strength
"Good. Me too." She smiles feeling her Soulmates
contentment surround them lazily
"Can't move" wafts towards the warrior not in discomfort
but exhaustion
"Sleep my love" the warrior tightens her hold not wanting
to let go just yet
"Kay...Love you Xena" "You too." The warrior gazes at the
treasure in her arms
Her Gabrielle, her Lover, her Bard, her soulmate, her
partner. Xena smiles lightly
" Don't let go" Gabrielle whispers drifting, hands clasp
tight anchoring their existence
yet...
